See where your sales come from. Win back the ones you lose.

Store analytics in one panel: where buyers come from, who is shopping now and what you earn. Plus on-site messages you approve, and a control group that shows what they really added.

What it looks like in a store

A sample store with sample data

The one with the basket comes back from an email. An approved scenario mentions the cart, so they go in and buy.

The Ominote panel

Where buyers come from, what is happening now and where sales slip away.

Where paying customers come from

Revenue, buyers and conversion for every channel, down to the campaign or the YouTube video.

What is happening on your store now

In the app: Realtime

Who is on your store now, open carts, and today against yesterday by this hour.

Where sales slip away

In the app: Signals

Carts left behind, sold-out sizes people wanted and stock running out, each with the money at stake.

The problem

Many shoppers nearly buy, then leave.

~70%

of carts are abandoned. That is the average across the studies Baymard Institute collects. The item is already in the cart, and the sale never happens.

The same message for everyone does not work

A message shown to every visitor annoys the ones it does not concern, and soon nobody notices it. What matters is who sees what, and when.

Ominote shows a message only to the shoppers it concerns, and only when it can help. It picks them by what they do on your store.

How it works

From signal to result

1

Collects

A small 12 KB script on your store sees what shoppers view, pick, add to cart and buy.

In the app: Realtime

2

Detects

It finds signals, the places where sales slip away: carts left behind, sold-out sizes, stock running out. It counts rather than guesses.

In the app: Signals

3

Proposes

For each signal it prepares a scenario: what to show, to whom and when. Nothing is shown until you approve it.

In the app: Scenarios

4

Measures

By default 10% of shoppers are shown no messages. Comparing with them shows what a message really added, not just which orders came after a click.

Installing it, and questions

One line on your store, and answers before you add it.

In your store's <head>
<script async src="https://ominote.app/v1/s.js"
        data-key="omn_pk_…"></script>

With your own server, the script can load from your store's own address, like the rest of the page. On Shopify and hosted platforms it loads from ours.

What does the script collect?+

What shoppers do on your store. It uses only a cookie on your store's own domain, and no third-party pixels. Email addresses are never stored, at most a SHA-256 hash you compute on your side. The IP address is used only to tell the country and is never stored. Raw events expire after 90 days and visitor IDs after 400. The profile used to pick messages stays in the shopper's browser.

Will it slow my store down?+

The script is about 12 KB and does not hold up your page. The part that shows messages loads only for shoppers who will see one. No script is free, which is why this one is so small, and if anything goes wrong it goes quiet instead of breaking your page.

Does it work with my store?+

It works with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and custom stores. Where the store sends GA4 ecommerce data, Ominote reads that; otherwise it reads the page. Installing it is one line of code.

Do I need a cookie banner?+

In the EU, most likely yes: the script sets a cookie on your store's own domain and keeps a profile in the shopper's browser. The simplest way is to load it only after consent, through your banner. If a shopper changes their mind, one call, ominote('consent', …), stops collection. Check your setup with whoever handles privacy for you.

Who writes what my shoppers see?+

Each message starts from a ready template you can rewrite in your own words. Numbers are never made up: “only 3 left” shows only when it is true. You can match the colours to your store, and AI can suggest them, but only when you click. Nothing is shown until you switch a scenario on, and you can switch it off at any time.

What if it does not help?+

Then the control group shows it, and Ominote says so. The result is measured against shoppers who are shown nothing, not credited by last click. Until there is enough data, the result is marked “gathering”. Any scenario can be switched off in one click.

What happens if I remove the script?+

Nothing is shown any more, and there is nothing to clean up in your store. Collected data expires on its own: raw events after 90 days, visitor IDs after 400.

Will my customers get emails from you?+

No. Ominote shows messages only on your own store. Email is not available yet. When it is, your own email tool sends the message, not us. We never send email and never hold email addresses.
